In 2011 CRCN changed the name to Medical Research Network of the Consortium of the Thai Medical schools (MedResNet). Since 2000 MedResNet has accomplished the research and published in both local and international medical journals (please see details in the accomplishment section). MedResNet served as the centre for the collaboration and networking of the medical and public health research parties. In addition, MedResNet also assisted in fund raising, identify the researchers in various areas, support researchers in their projects from protocol developing, quality planning, study conduct, project management, data management, biostatistical analysis, study report to assist in writing publication and submission. MedResNet involved in epidemiology research lead to the improvement of clinical practice and national health service policy reform.
